What we actually do
Four pieces of work. None of them cost you anything, because the insurance company pays us a commission it sets, and your premium is the same either way.
Medicare Advantage plans
We check your doctors against every plan network in your county, read what needs approval in advance, and compare the worst case, not the advertised case.
Medigap supplements
Same letter, every company, sorted by price, with each company’s history of rate increases attached. The part that comparison sites will not show you.
Part D drug plans
Your real prescription list against every plan sold where you live, priced across the whole year, at the pharmacy you actually use.
Your yearly review
Every fall we re-check the plan you have against the ones you could have. Most years we tell you to stay put, and that is a real answer.
How a first call goes
- You describe your situation. Age, whether you are still working, which doctors you want to keep, what you take.
- We tell you your dates. Which window you are in, what is urgent and what is not.
- We narrow it to two or three real options and price each one across a whole year.
- You think about it. We send it in writing. There is no expiring offer, because there is no offer.
- When you decide, we do the paperwork and stay on the file afterwards.
The first call is usually twenty minutes. If you are more than four months from your birthday, we will often tell you to call back later rather than start early.
What we will not do
- We will not call you first. If we have not spoken, we are not phoning you. Anyone who does is not us.
- We will not put you on a list. No newsletter you did not ask for, no data sold, ever.
- We will not push a decision. Nothing about Medicare expires at the end of a phone call.
- We will not pretend to be neutral about everything. If we think one option is wrong for you, we will say which and why, and you can disagree.
We also cannot enroll you in Part A or Part B. That is Social Security’s job, and we will walk you through doing it yourself.
Start with a phone call.
No form, no quote engine, no email address required. A licensed agent picks up during office hours, and outside them you can leave a message and we will call back.
